Stargazing Experience North Riding

Join us for an exhilarating private stargazing experience where you can explore both African and classic legends of the night skies. Experience live on-screen the dramatic birth and death of stars and unravel the geometric patterns hidden among the constellations. Our elevated observation deck offers breathtaking views of the night sky. A Celestron 8″ telescope is available for direct observation, and our smart telescope delivers stunning live views of celestial objects, which are projected onto a large-format screen. Stargazing Experiences are scheduled to align with the lunar cycle—between the full moon and the new moon, as well as after the full moon. This timing allows us to showcase fainter deep sky objects and the beauty of our celestial neighbors, the planets. When to Book: Friday evenings from 19:00 & Saturdays from 18:00 Arrival time at least 20 minutes before the time Weekday evenings on special request All Astronomy Experiences will be available from May 2025 Keep an eye on our events page for upcoming events. Bookings are essential Maximum 10 guests can be accommodated at one time Parking for 2-3 vehicles is available Stargazing Evening at Your Home/ Garden: R2250.00 maximum 10 guests, for 2 hours (often extends to about 3 hours). Observation Deck North Riding: R2250.00 maximum 10 guests, for 2 hours (often extends to about 3 hours). To complete your Private Stargazing Evening, you will enjoy an observation session through our telescope as we take you on a guided tour of the night sky. How to book:
The training schedule usually does not have any bookable dates as we fit in with your schedule. Training sessions can be arranged during the week and on weekends if it does not clash with our stargazing experiences. If you want to see what you can expect when buying a telescope please book a stargazing experience for the family to enjoy the night sky and to see some of our telescopes in action.
